Carnival Horizon is more than just a cruise ship, it’s a cruise ship with onboard spaces inspired by cities from all four corners of the world.
Vacationers can find Fun Ship 2.0 favorite poolside eateries and bars including Guy's Burger Joint, featuring award-winning burgers and hand-cut fries created by chef and author Guy Fieri, Seafood Shack, a New-England-style seaside spot, Pizzeria del Capitano, a pizza kitchen open 24 hours a day, and BlueIguana Cantina™, featuring freshly made tacos and burritos. Poolside bars BlueIguana Tequila Bar™ and RedFrog Rum Bar™ will also provide innovative cocktail options, as do the mixologists at the cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar. Fresh Creations, a chopped salad station right inside the adults-only Serenity™ retreat will be an option for those that want to leave the pizza and burgers for the kids.
Thanks to an expanded Lanai on Deck 5 guests can stroll or sit and enjoy a beverage at one of the many dining and bar venues that now feature outdoor areas.
Carnival will offer its outdoor seating options at specialty eateries including Fahrenheit 555, a classic American steakhouse, and Japanese-style Bonsai Sushi restaurant where diners can enjoy sea views as delicious as their meals. Cherry on Top is the sweetest spot at sea, with a new premium mixed-to-order custom ice cream creation bar, outdoor seating and more than 80 bulk candy options. An open-air spot, Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que will provide guests with authentic, real-deal barbeque on sea days. The intimate Library Bar also offers guests indoor/outdoor options, in addition to the hoppin' RedFrog Pub™ and stylish Havana Bar.
The Bonsai Teppanyaki experience is set to delight your clients aboard Carnival Horizon. Clients can take a little time out of vacation to sit down to a selection of tempting appetizers, before the chef prepares the main course featuring selections of meats, tofu, fish, shrimp, lobster…right at their table. In the teppanyaki tradition – and Carnival’s tradition of fun – they can expect an interactive, satisfying meal full of surprises and delicious delight.
With SkyRide™, the cruise industry's first pedal-powered open-air aerial attraction, we have created some of the best and highest outdoor vistas ever offered on a cruise ship. Adventurous riders can climb aboard hanging recumbent-like bikes to cycle their way around the 800-foot suspended track with panoramic views from 150 feet above the sea. Nearby there is SkyCourse™, an exhilarating suspended ropes course. Both are part of the outdoor activity park that also includes an indoor sports hangout, The Clubhouse at SportSquare™, featuring mini-bowling, ping-pong, arcade basketball, sports video gaming and more.
Located on Deck 12, Carnival Horizon’s Dr. Seuss WaterWorks offers two distinctly different slides each promising their own splash-tastic fun. Inspired by everyone’s favorite feline, The Cat in the Hat slide will feature an enclosed raft slide offering more than 450 feet of heart-racing twists and turns. The entrance resembles The Cat’s famous red and white hat with the distinctive color pattern carried throughout the slide in alternating translucent and opaque sections.
For those looking to unwind and relax, Carnival Horizon has a lot to ahhh about. The luxurious two-level Cloud 9 Spa™ features an array of chill-worthy amenities, including a thalassotherapy pool, four steam chambers, Carnival's first infrared sauna and hamam, and special "experience showers" that provide a soothing fragrance element, along with a high-tech indoor cycling studio. Guests can get away from it all at the adults-only Serenity™ retreat, where there's astonishing views, tranquility and even more lounging options to relax including our first outdoor massage huts.
